FAQ

Are there food options on site?

Yes! The DoubleTree has a "grab and Go" station with sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks. Upstairs you can have a sit-down meal in their restaurant. Quick snacks and drinks are available in the lobby shop and for 2020 The DoubleTree will be setting up a soup/salad/sandwich buffet as well.

Is the facility handicap accessible?

The quilt show is all on one floor and accessible from the back ground-level entrance as well as the front entrance which has an elevator to bring you down to the show floor. The various rooms of the quilt show have ramps if the floor level changes. Please note however that the show is in a partially-carpeted ballroom. If you have any special needs with taking classes or navigating the show please let us know!

Is there overflow parking?

The DoubleTree features a very large parking lot with spaces in both the front and back. Parking is always free! If parking spaces are filled up the hotel will begin directing customers to their satellite parking lots located behind the hotel (by the chapel) and across the street in Willow Valley Communities. The DoubleTree will run a shuttle from these lots to the hotel.

Will you be running a shuttle bus to the AQS quilt show in 2020?

No. After running a shuttle bus for the last 10 years we are discontinuing the shuttle for 2020. After much care and concern we decided that the small number of riders we had did not cover the cost of renting the shuttle vans. We ran the shuttle on our own, and it was just no longer financially feasible to continue running it. We will make every effort to have information available to our shoppers who may want to use public transport or Uber/Lyft to get between the two shows.
